Studio Rules & Guidelines
These guidelines help us keep FunTinkerRipple safe, welcoming, and genuinely fun for every single person who walks through our door.
FunTinkerRipple is a space built on respect, creativity, and shared joy. The following guidelines are not about restriction — they're about protecting the environment that makes great making possible. We ask every participant, visitor, and guardian to read and honor these guidelines before attending any session.
Respect the Space
Treat all tools, materials, and shared surfaces with care. Return items to their designated place after use. Clean up your workspace before leaving. A tidy studio is a creative studio.
Respect Each Other
FunTinkerRipple is an inclusive space. Discrimination, harassment, bullying, or unkind behavior of any kind will result in immediate removal from the session without refund. Every maker deserves to feel safe and valued.
Listen to Facilitators
Our facilitators are here to guide, not restrict. Follow all safety instructions promptly. If you disagree with a guideline, raise it respectfully after the session — not during active work time.
Tool Safety First
Only use tools you have been instructed on or cleared for. Never use sharp, electrical, or power tools without facilitator supervision. Report any equipment damage or malfunction immediately. No horseplay near workbenches.
Arrive On Time
Please arrive 5–10 minutes before your session start time. Latecomers may be refused entry after 15 minutes have passed, as safety briefings and setup instructions may have concluded. Late arrivals are non-refundable.
Appropriate Attire
Wear comfortable clothing you don't mind getting messy. Closed-toe shoes are required. Long hair must be tied back in any session involving power tools or open flame elements. Loose jewelry should be removed.
No Unauthorized Materials
Do not bring your own chemicals, adhesives, or tools without prior written approval. All materials used in sessions must be provided or cleared by FunTinkerRipple staff to ensure safety and quality standards.
Photography & Recording
You may photograph your own work for personal use. Recording other participants without their consent is not permitted. FunTinkerRipple staff may photograph sessions for marketing purposes — please inform us if you opt out.
Allergies & Medical Needs
Please disclose any relevant allergies or medical conditions during registration. We work with a variety of materials and will do our best to accommodate needs, but cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.
Children & Guardians
Children under 8 must remain with their guardian throughout the session. Guardians are equally responsible for upholding these guidelines. Unattended children over 8 in registered sessions will be treated with the same behavioral expectations as any adult participant.
Zero Alcohol / Substance Policy
The consumption of alcohol, cannabis, or any impairing substances before or during a session is strictly prohibited. Participants appearing impaired will be asked to leave without refund for safety reasons.
